Satan got mad at the Holy Spirit, he may have torn this down but he can never take away my Spirit!
“Holy Spirit you are welcome here, come flood this place and fill the atmosphere, Your Glory God is what our hearts long for, To be overcome by your presence Lord” Lyrics to a beautiful powerful song “Holy Spirit” by Francesca Battistelli. More lyrics to follow “Let us become more aware of Your presence, Let us experience the Glory of your goodness”. You don’t get more powerful lyrics to sing to blast out Satan.
On our 20 hr trip, we did nothing but listen to worship songs and Church sermons, we certainly had a Holy Spirit filled trip. I decided that this was going to be “my song” to blast out Satan. This photo arrived a day after I came home, what a perfect gift, Thank you Bro! Couldn’t wait to hang it over my bed. First time hung, it fell and broke (as you can see in the above picture), to me this was Satan getting mad, saying “NO, the Holy Spirit is not welcome here”. That didn’t stop me, second frame is even stronger and it’s extra secured (if not it would knock me out in my sleep, LOL).
My daily Bible reading was no coincidence, check this out! I am on the book of Nehemiah. When I committed to reading the Bible systemically with my Church, I went out and bought an Amplified Version (It’s actually The everyday life Bible by Joyce Meyer’s) because my New international version that my Parents bought me was too hard to follow. Love the explanations.

This was an “Ah” moment for me, never heard this before. Satan can not see what’s in our hearts. But he can see us on our knees & worshiping! The enemy will try to remind you of what you use to be. He only knows your past & present, not your future. Only God knows your future!
See, this is when he really started to attack me, I got lackadaisical with my Bible readings and journaling and when I usually pray on me knees, I stopped for a few weeks, just got in bed and prayed. I Probably didn’t finish most times because I most likely feel asleep. I feel that he saw this as an opportunity to sneak in and attack!
Needless to say, I was back on my knees that day and worshiping more and more, especially in my bedroom. I even prayed while anointing my room/apt. with oil, per the suggestion off our Campus Pastor Gina, who prayed with me today. I am doing everything I can to “Kick Satan outta here” There is NO room for you here, Get Out! I am not fearing, I am not feeling threatened. I know that the Holy Spirit is within me and nothing can take that away. I am not going to stop writing & journaling, because I most certainly without a doubt know that this is what God has called me to do and he has more exciting things waiting for me.
We need to remember that God has given us Joy, which is the fruit of the Holy Spirit that is given to believers in Christ. We must mature that fruit and release it in our lives. Satan is more interested in stealing our joy than our goods. He knows that if he saddens us, he can weaken us. He hopes that by causing affliction he can steal our joy (this can even be your car or washing machine breaking down. Anything to cause havoc in your life). No matter what kind of trouble Satan throws at you, Don’t let him steal your Joy, Don’t let him distract you. Each day that God gives us is holy & precious, we need to cherish every day by glorifying God. Let’s not satisfy Satan by letting him distract us.
Don’t focus on your weaknesses-focus on your God given purpose and worship & pray through it. Always Praise, especially in the hard times and spiritual battles.
Update (8/25/20): Something I recently learned. If you aren’t facing resistance, then something is wrong, you are not doing something good for God. Live righteously and know your plan and purpose that God called you to do. Do it and honor God. Put yourself out there, get out of your comfort zone. Jesus said, in Me you will have peace. In this world you will have trouble but take heart, I have overcome the world! (John 16:33). In the kingdom of God there is always a test of promotion. God uses this to refine us. Satan has to ask God for permission to attack us, it’s a test. God always has control, he only let’s him in a little bit. We need to live righteously-offer sacrifices-put on our full armor of God and press on. Pray & worship thru it. Every time we are tested, we will be promoted! I just got done reading the book of Job. Satan had to ask God to test Job. Why? Because Job lived righteously.
I am so in AWE of God right now! The timing of the trip, the reminder to not get lackadaisical. The message that Satan can’t see what’s in our hearts that we need to worship, bow down and glorify him at all times. The Perfect scriptures, messages & songs for each moment. The continuous messages to let me know that I am on the right track of his path that he has planned out for me. There is no greater word than “Awe”.

Prayer: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit; Thank you for speaking to me, for loving me and for protecting me. Thank you for fighting my battles for years past and today. Thank you for redirecting me and for having a greater plan & purpose for me. Thank you also for protecting Kevin and for fighting his battles. I am so in Awe of you.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen
